NEXT SHOW: TBA
Nov 18 ::
Our bass player has left the band for personal reasons, everything on good terms - he just had to go. We've been spoiled by his abilities and are looking to fill the void. This is of course an opportunity to shake shit up and get somebody that will see our material from a new angle and inject some fresh spirit and energy to the group.
There are a lot of postings online, and in local rags, from bands looking for a bass player. "Must have pro gear, pro attitude!!! Serious musicians only!!"
No shit.
While we're serious about what we're doing, and want our bass player to have great gear/chops/skill/ability/intuition .. etc ... that shit should just be a given.
We've got studio time scheduled for the end of the month .. how that's looking now we don't know because we're short 1/2 the rhythm section. We need somebody that's willing to spend the time (currently twice weekly for 3 to 4 hours) practicing. Vocal skill would be a plus as several of our tracks have backing vocals.
Our material covers a few different styles, so it's hard to just give you a band name that we share similarities with. The most important thing is that you're capable, of a slightly progressive mindset, have experience, and aren't a complete douche.
If you just picked up your first bass and combo amp from guitar center or ebay, please proceed to the next band. If you feel you have what it takes and want to be part of a group that will push you to be better than you are now then please reply and we'll send over some demo stuff for you to check out.
Thanks
Nov 14 ::
It is with great sadness that we have to announce the departure of J-Fly from Mo Nasty. J-Fly was an integral part of the band and he will be hard to replace.
If you are a bassist with backing vocals, pro gear, a great attitude and drive, and you are influenced by bands such as R.H.C.P., Helmet, F.N.M., Sevendust, etc... contact us immediately.
